Human Development Initiatives

Human development has a significant impact on the peoples' lives in the Kunene basin countries. It is about creating an environment of improved conditions in which people can develop their full potential by choosing between different alternatives and leading their lives in accordance to their needs and interests.

The provision of safe drinking water is an important part of development initiatives in the basin countries.
