Examples of River Basin Organisations  

River Basin Organisations are umbrella organisations for basin-wide water resources management (GWP 2009a). Four river basins—the Orange-Senqu, Danube, the Mekong and the Nile—facing different challenges and at varying stages of development, are described below.
